Someday

quid005

The Someday single came out in 1994 on Mike Babb's Quiddity Records

Someday, co-written by Rod and Vicky features Julia with Vicky on a dual lead vocals.

Falling Girl, inspired by a short story of the same name by Dino Buzzati, is the only recorded song that Ian sings on.

Shipwrecked was originally done as an instrumental but the lyrics seemed to fit nicely.

Super Falling Star teamed up with Detroit's Fuxa to release a split 7"    on the wonderful Drive-in Records label  in March 1998

The tracks are Supernatural Girl and Reflections

Dead Letters, on the brilliant Roisin Recordings label from the UK came out in October 2000.

Playing Around Sandcastles (cassette)

The track Closer to the Sun was on the Meller Welle Produkt cassette (Germany) which came out in November 1996.

The track differs from that on the Searchlight single in that Ian is on lead vocal.

Melbourne Holiday

Clover 703

A 4-band compilation from the lovely people at Clover Records in Japan showcasing the talents of other Melbourne (naturally enough) bands such as The Cat's Miaow, The Jordans and Stinky Fire Engine.

Indie Aid Abroad-A Little Help for East Timor

shh10

A great compilation put together by Bart at Library Records with  songs from 22 of your favourite bands.

Our song is the version of Shipwrecked that is on the Quiddity single.
